The simplest person in the room
Until 2024 I led B2B marketing for Google and YouTube in the UK, developing our proposition for advertisers and leading tentpole events like YouTube Festival, Google Insiders and YouTube Works. Alongside overall responsibility, I led on core narratives and keynote speeches for senior Google and YouTube execs.
I often found myself taking the role of arch simplifier, cutting through the complexity of a big and fast moving organisation. While everyone else was trying to be clever, I was trying to be simple. It is this specialism that I'm now making available to other clients.
